What are your opening times?

Our opening hours are:

Tue – Wed / 5pm – 9:45pm
Thu / 12pm – 3pm + 5pm – 9:45pm
Fri / 12pm – 3pm + 5pm – 10:45pm
Sat / 11.30am – 10:45pm
Sun / 11.30am – 9:45pm

Last orders are taken 15 minutes before closing.

Are any of your dishes vegan friendly?

Yes! All of our vegetarian dishes are either already vegan, or can be made vegan upon request.

Are there gluten free options, if so, what is gluten free?

Not many of our dishes are gluten free. If it’s a low gluten dish then we have some, but if you are strongly allergic to gluten / Coeliac, then the choices are limited. With a bit of notice we can usually prepare something for you, so do get in touch to ask.

Do you have halal options?

All of our chicken dishes are halal.

When do you serve brunch?

We serve our dedicated brunch menu from 11:30 – 15:45 every Saturday and Sunday, featuring classic dishes from our menu plus brunch exclusive dishes. We also serve a menu of brunch cocktails and bottomless options.

How long are specials usually available for?

Our specials tend to run for two weeks. We usually have a bao special and a sharer special available and we typically change one every week.

Are children allowed?

Children are very welcome, but please note we do not have loads of space available at dinner time for prams or buggies!

Are dogs allowed?

Well behaved dogs are very welcome.

Do you take pre-payment for bookings?

No, however please note that we take credit card details for all reservations as a security against no-shows. We are a small, independent business and due to having limited space, no-shows really hurt us. The card will only be charged (£10pp) if you fail to attend or cancel your reservation within the requested 24 hour period.

Why is nobody answering the phone?

Our phones are not manned until we open. When open we do our best to answer all calls but you can also email us on info@daddybao.com.

I can't get a booking. Do you have space for walk-ins?

We do keep space for walk-ins so just pop by and we will add you to the waitlist if a table isn’t available immediately. You can also use the “notify me” feature on Resy to be contacted if there are any cancellations.

Can I bring in a birthday cake?

Yes no problem but please be aware that we do charge a £2 cakeage fee per person.

Where can I order merch and vouchers?

You can shop our full merch range on House Special including our t-shirts, house beer, negroni and sweatshirts.
