On 16th April, we’re hosting our second tasting evening at Good Measure in collaboration with Tengu Sake, with bright fresh flavours to see in spring.
Ollie from Tengu Sake will be guiding the evening, taking guests on a journey through six sakes, and teaching you all you need to know about how they’re made, the producers and the flavour profiles. Guests will be able try a range of sakes including:
Plum Sake Spritz
Hyakujuro “Black Face” Junmai Daiginjō
Gozenshu “Misty Mountain” Junmai Usu-nigori Bodaimoto
Fukukomachi “Evening Sky” Junmai Karakuchi
Kenbishi Kuromatsu “Black Pine” Futsu-shu
Aperitif Junmai Daiginjō Koshu (2021 Vintage)
Alongside this, we’ll be serving up a selection of exclusive dishes designed for the event:
Torched Mackerel with Grapefruit and Herb Salad
Crispy Rice with BBQ Hen of the Woods Mushroom
Pork, Prawn and Wild Garlic Shumai with Chilli Dipping Sauce
Tempura Asparagus with Ginger, Lime and Sesame Mayo
Pan Fried Sea Bream, Dashi Emulsion and Furikake Rice
Sticky Korean Lamb Ribs, Pickled White Onion, Coriander
Yuzu Cheesecake
This is a very limited event, with only 16 spaces available – tickets are £70 per person here
