Our Mid-Autumn celebration is returning to Daddy Bao this month and tickets are now live. On Sunday 22nd September, we’ll be serving an exclusive menu all day to mark the festival, that has been celebrated in South East Asia for over 3,000 years. Designed to be shared with those you love, the menu plays with Mid-Autumn traditions and flavours but with a Daddy Bao spin. For £45 per person, the menu will feature:
Welcome cocktail and lotus root crisps

Umami cured gurnard or avocado with pomelo salad

Mushroom dumplings in a rich mushroom broth

Build-your-own-bao with roasted red pork or crispy tofu
Pickled carrot, crispy garlic, spring onion ginger oil, fresh coriander and sweet star anise glaze

Grilled onglet steak with Taiwanese black pepper sauce and tenderstem broccoli
or
Roast kabocha pumpkin with black bean sauce, garlic stir-fried spinach and whipped smoked tofu
or
Grilled prawns in sweet chilli glaze with charred sweetcorn and courgette salad
All served with short grain rice

The menu will run all day, taking over from our normal service, from lunch through to dinner – we encourage friends and family to come and celebrate together! The booking link is now open.
